How You Can Help

At Swallows Charter Academy we realize that a good education not only requires a dedicated faculty and staff, but it also needs help from the community. We encourage you to get involved in our school and make a difference in the lives of our students. You can do so in one of two ways - you can volunteer your time, or you can make a donation.

Volunteer Opportunities

We often need volunteers to help with various tasks around the school. If you would like to help, please contact the school at 547-1627.

• Assistance in the classroom.
• Assist in reading programs.
• Classroom or assembly guest speaker on a subject in your career field.
• Assist with serving lunch on a scheduled or fill-in basis: hand out lunch, supervise and clean up the lunchroom.
• Serve on the Board. Elections are held each spring for board position terms ending that year.
• Serve on the Booster Club, Accountability Committee, or other sub-committee of the board such as Budget Committee or Calendar Committee.
• Work on project work days such as painting, playground maintenance/building, etc.
